Maybe should not support these kind of sites and darn this movie is bad… Knight Rider 2008 (TV version) is some combination of the old Knight Rider and Viper.
One of the bad guys uses a black N95 8GB which in one scene shows the screen with a numerical touchpad. Always fun to see that in movies they never use a mobile phone showing a UI that actually acts the way it acts for real.
Would you like to see the N95 with a touchpad?

Speaking of phoney phones in movies, I actually remember a realistic “cameo appearance” in Proof of Life. When Peter Morse (Meg Ryan’s husband, later saved by Russell Crowe) faces his kidnappers, pointing machine guns at him, he waves his Nokia 9110 Communicator in his hand and shouts: “Don’t shoot! It’s a phone!”

If you look at the shot of the bad guy in the Helicopter, the top left of the phone (where it says “Nokia N95″ is covered with a bit of black tape!! but yeah, there is a close up of the Screen with what looks like touch buttons, which is weird ’cause he closes the phone after talking on it, which indicates actual hardware buttons!!! ah well…

I know the “director” or whoever it was reckoned the display in Kitt was supposedly influenced by the iPhone, but it could have been from anywhere. In my opinion the touchscreen interface really took off back in the Star Trek:TNG days just proving how uninspirational the iPhone truly is. It was an old design just waiting for technology to catch up.

Where television is currently a bore and watching my dog chase his tale is more entertaining than watchching all the different type of reality tv which is the same show over and over with different actors and different names, Knight Rider is a nice touch. The new driver however is a little weak of a character but with a little work I think the show could take off but Val needs more lines.
