Excellent! Nothing breeds innovation like competition
Posted 08 Jan 2008 at 8:24 pm ¶Hey!
I have a problem for a while now and I still haven’t found a solution for it, so I’ll just try my luck here.
Whenever I try to install a cool app like this (Flip Silent) or RotateMe by Samir I get a note just before it even starts installing it. Here’s the message: “Certificate error. Contact the application supplier”.
Now, I know that this may be an easy problem to solve, but as it seems, not for me.
I know there are some really nice guys that will give me a hand here, so please, be so kind and give me the answer for my problems.

Go to “Applications” > “Application Manager” (App. Mgr.)
select “Options” > “Settings”. Change “Software installation” from “Signed only” to “All”
After this you should be able to install your software.
If it doesn’t help, you know where to find us!

Posted 09 Jan 2008 at 4:55 pm ¶Cheers Jan for this, I’ve checked it on my phone and those settings were already set up like you said (”all”&”off”) but the problem is still the same. Unfortunately, nothing has chaged.
I must mention that this problem ONLY occurs when I’m trying to install these two applications, by any other app there’s no problem at all…
Do you think I must reinstall my new firmware? Hopefully there’s another solution.

These two applications need to be signed and the developer has not done because of some restrictions. you will have to sign it yourself try your luck at https://www.symbiansigned.com/app/page
i have all my unsigned applications got it signed through this site only
