FM Radio Aerial For Nokia N95, N95 8Gb, and other Smartphones

Aerial for Nokia N95This simple aerial enables Smartphones such as the Nokia N95 to be operated as a stand-alone high quality FM radio, using the phones’ own loudspeakers. It conveniently replaces the headphone lead as an aerial source, and can be easily adjusted for optimum reception in any environment where listening on the supplied headphones was previously possible. The aerial is simply inserted into the 3.5mm audio jack socket, “Visual Radio” is selected as an application, and the speakers are switched on via , .All other radio functions operate as normal, including volume, station selection and storage etc.

The aerial has to be removed to answer an incoming or make an outgoing call, but the radio is easily re-instated afterwards by following the above procedure.

The aerial is 150mm long, 4mm diameter, can be adjusted through 180 degrees, is made of flexible wire and plastic coated for safety.

The aerial will probably work successfully with other Nokia Smartphones and other manufacturers’ phones, if they have a built-in FM radio which normally uses the headphone lead as an aerial, a 3.5mm headphone socket, and the facility for enabling built-in speakers when the FM radio is on.

Priced at only £3.99, it’s the most useful, low cost accessory I have found yet for my mobile phone.
