Improve your Camera Phone pictures

tagged with:No Tags

Okay, so I do not operate my 5 Mega Pixel equipped Nokia N95 yet, but I am definitely preparing myself…

One thing that really bothers me is that although most camera phones now sport a 2 or more Mega Pixel camera, the resulting images are still, well, camera phone quality. So how can I improve this.

Digital Photography School has a real good post called “13 tips for improving camera phone photos“. A little section from that post:

  1. Use well lit subjects
  2. Get close to what you want to capture
  3. Keep it still (use some kind of support to lean on)
  4. Avoid digital zoom
  5. Keep your lens clean
  6. Use highest resolution possible
  7. Take loads of shots and experiment
    read them all

If you want some elaborate tips you better read the whole article, as it gives a basic yet very contributing basis when getting into the mobile phone photography.

To what level of professionalism do YOU use your mobile phone’s camera?
