As we have entered the month of the “the” release of the iPhone, the discussion surrounding Apple’s - Leopard delaying [sigh!] - phone heats up again.
Name of fame Robert Scoble has just received a Nokia N95 and now asks himself: “The better iPhone: Nokia N95?”
For those not familiar with Robert Scoble [via Wikipedia]:
Robert Scoble (born January 18, 1965) is an American blogger, technical evangelist, and author. Scoble is best known for his popular blog, Scobleizer, which came to prominence during his tenure as a technical evangelist at Microsoft. He is married to Maryam Ghaemmaghami Scoble, and has a son, Patrick, from a previous marriage. He and his wife currently work at PodTech.net, a video-podcast startup. He is also the co-author of Naked Conversations: How Blogs are Changing the Way Businesses Talk with Customers with Shel Israel.
Now while he is waiting for the date that he can buy his iPhones (2, also one for his wife…), he is playing around with the N95:
I’m in love already. But rather, I’m in love with the Nokia N95. The camera on this phone is unbelievable. As soon as I get my Flickr account back up I’ll show you some pictures. It has a 5 Megapixel camera in it. The picture quality is stunning.
It also has GPS. It also has 3G and all the other bands you’d want so you can travel the world with this phone. It’s also unlocked so you can use it with your favorite carrier.
Translation: it’s going to be lots of fun to compare this to the iPhone. We all know the iPhone will sell just cause it’s cool, but this phone will match up pretty darn well. More on that after I get an iPhone.

So, guess that we can expect some interesting reviews from his side soon!
