Wow!!! This is free software and it works like a charm!
Setting up is really simple and the result is that you can use your N95 as a webcam in under 3 minutes!
wwigo (pronounced ‘vigo’) stands for Webcam Wherever I Go. With wwigo, a camera phone can be used as a webcam with PC or Laptop using bluetooth as the transmission medium.
It consists of two software components.
- mobile component that resides and phone and streams video to PC.
- PC component that recieves video.
System Requirements.
- Desktop/Laptop with Windows 2000 or Windows XP SP2
- Bluetooth enabled with any one of these bluetooth Stack, Microsoft Bluetooth Stack, Widcomm Bluetooth Stack, Toshiba Bluetooth Stack
- Mobile Phone : Nokia Series 60 v2.0 or v3.0 phone.
So, here are the screens for the install:

And finally a screenshot of the N95 capturing the screen of the pc capturing what the N95 is capturing (yes, this is correct!)

So, easy does it!!!
Way to go WWIGO!!!

Does it has comparable to Warelex’s Mobiola wireless webcam functions and framerates?
Posted 06 Jun 2007 at 5:48 pm ¶I want to try this app.
Posted 06 Jun 2007 at 5:50 pm ¶@ Exner: I have not tried Mobiola, maybe somebody else can answer that…
Biggest difference of course is that this is freeware…
@ Hovard: be my guest, it works like a charm and the link for the product is in the post!
Posted 06 Jun 2007 at 5:57 pm ¶hi, is there a possibility to have the sound too ? I would like to use my N95 as a remote webcam and sound device for skype.
Posted 07 Jun 2007 at 2:00 pm ¶Apparently not yet… guess that will be high on the feature request list!
I can understand that for desktops that would be ideal, most laptops on the other hand have their own mics and speakers.
I am waiting for the Mac version of this though…
Posted 07 Jun 2007 at 3:18 pm ¶Thanks for the tip. I tried and installed wwigo on my N95. Works great. Tried with MSN messenger. After awhile it losted connection from N95 to PC wwigo. But as long as you don’t touch and try to adjust things, it’ll work just fine as IM webcam. N95 comes with a video phone camera at front. Wish someone can develop something to use it. No video phone in US, for a long while.

Tried to install WWIGO on my N95 and got an error message saying there was a certificate errror. Anyone know how to fix this?
Posted 17 Jun 2007 at 4:34 pm ¶Try Mobiola. Should work.
Posted 18 Jun 2007 at 10:36 am ¶Goto Tools -> App. mgr -> Options -> Settings. Then change
“software installation” from “Signed Only” to “All” and
“Onlline certif. check” to “Off”.
