Through Mad4MobilePhones [full article] I found the news that Nokia has patented a feature that allows the voice tagging of camera phone pictures.
The system would allow you to take a picture of a landmark or person and immediately tag it with a number of tags and the image would then be stored in a folder for each tag.
For example if you take a photo of a sunset over the sea. You could tag it with “sunset” and “sea” and the photo would exist in the two separate folders.
Besides the fact that is would really ease the way of storing and ordening your picture galleries, I guess that this would take Nokia’s market share in the world of FLICKR to even a higher level. The ease of transferring pictures to the net without additional actions (naming, tagging, etc) comes another step closer.
